Vitamin D and pregnancy .. New findings suggest pregnant woman need much more Vitamin D then they are getting .

New research suggests pregnant women needs 4,ooo IU of vitamin D per day while breast feeding woman need 6,000 IU per day . In a regular prenatal vitamin the normal dose is 400 IU

A simple and easy way to get extra Vitamin D while pregnant is to go outside  around noon and sit in the sun with your belly exposed for 10-20 minutes .

This is my favorite brand of Vitamin D – I love it because it’s 4,ooo IU per drop and all you have to do is put 1 drop per day on your tongue . SUPER easy !
