NETTLE LEAF TEA – PREGNANCY

ImageNettle leaf tea is an awesome thing to drink throughout your pregnancy . It is high in tons of vitamins and super high in minerals especially calcium . If you are anything like me and lactose intolerant this is a great tea to drink to get more calcium in your body in order to help better grow your baby’s teeth and bones .

I make a fertility tea for my clients that is equal parts : Nettle  , Red Clover and Red Raspberry leaf . According to Suzan Weed a combo of these 3 help boost fertility .

When someone has leg cramps I have them drink  the powered drink Calm with added calcium , warm milk and or  nettle leaf tea as calcium is a natural muscle relaxer .

When prepping someone for birth I might have them not only drink red raspberry leaf tea to strengthen and tone their uterus, but also nettle leaf tea as it is really high in Vitamin K which will help prevent hemorrhaging during labor .

During labor I have clients drink red raspberry tea combined with nettle leaf to help with the pain and to relax the body ( I add some honey for extra energy )

After birth I pour my clients a hot steaming mug of nettle leaf to replenish from the birth and to help relax their  body. Before I leave I give them with a few tea bags of red raspberry leaf and nettle leaf to drink to enhance their breast milk production.
