Quinoa Bowl – Healthy pregnancy Meal that’s packed with protein , iron and fiber

I just invented this and was so yummy that I just had to share with you all !!!

When  you are pregnant your body makes double the amount of blood so its really important to get enough iron in your body .

During the 2nd and 3rd trimester your baby is growing rapidly and needs more protein .

I have only come across a handful of pregnant women that haven’t suffered from constipation . Getting enough fiber in your body is a must for keeping yourself regular .

2 cups of cooked quinoa

1 cup of cooked black beans

3 – organic omega 3 eggs

1 cup of organic spinach

Organic salsa to taste

Himalayan sea salt

* Place the 2 cups of  cooked quinoa and 1 cup of black beans in a bowl , scramble your eggs and add spinach, when cooked add cooked quinoa and beans . Place back in bowl add salsa and himalayan sea salt to taste .

EASY as 1,2,3 !! I make a huge batch of quinoa weekly and keep in my refrigerator . You can buy cooked organic black beans I always choose the ones in the carton( not a big fan of canned goods) .

Spinach – High in Vitamin K , rich in iron , potassium , calcium and omegas .

Quinoa – High in protein , fiber , iron and magnesium.

Black Beans – High in iron , protein and fiber.

Omega 3 Eggs – High in protein, choline , omegas , vitamin D.

Himalayan Salt – Promotes healthy PH balance in your cells especially in the brain , helps prevent leg cramps  and promotes sleep .
