I work with a lot of pregnant moms that are always on the go and complaining of sore feet . I can’t be there to massage them everyday but what I do have them do is stand on a tennis ball and massage their own feet with it . At first it can be a bit painful but after a while it’s pure bliss !!!
1. Start by placing the tennis ball in the center of your foot by your arch but more in the middle . Take a deep breath and as you exhale put your weight on the ball and allow your foot to slowly melt around the ball like butter melting in the hot sun . Hold it there until the pain lets up .
2. Next – close your eyes and begin to slowly roll the ball around your foot exploring for the painful spots . When you find a sore or tight area again slowly take a deep breath and as you exhale put your weight on the ball and feel the knotted area release . Keep doing this until all the tightness is gone .
