A quick and easy way to check in to see if you might be deficient in iron -

Many of the women I work with are borderline , slightly or fully anemic .. Here is an easy way to check and see if there might be a deficiency .

Look in a mirror and pull down your lower eyelid. The inside of your eyelid should be red or dark pink. If you see a light pink or pale color this indicates an iron deficiency.

Also pay attention to these signs :
Loss of appetite
Tiredness , fatigue
Irritability
dizziness
headaches
Depression
sore tongue
cracks in corners of mouth
indigestion
pale coloring / pallor
brittle nails
