I saw this on pinterest this morning and had to post !!! LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea ! You all know how important I think being grateful is . That being said , as mindful parents you can plant seeds of inspiration in your children as they grow . This is a fun art project to do with your kids and you will be teaching them the gift of being thankful for their life .

You need :

Kleenex box

Colored paper

scissors

Glue

A stack of note paper and a pen or colored markers

Paint the Kleenex box , using all different colors of paper cut out a bunch of the feather shape you want to use and glue on the back of the box

for the front cut out a peanut shape and glue on the front of the box , color in the face or you can glue on eyes ….

Keep a stack of note card or paper by the side of the box and have each one of your family write out what daily what they were grateful for today ( before bed – as part of the bedtime ritual is a great time to do ).

On thanksgiving open the box and read out loud  as a family your month of gratitude .
