During childbirth the inner thigh muscles often tense up . Massaging the inner thighs during labor helps to relax the pelvic area and open up the cervix. During labor I use unscented coconut oil ( spectrum makes a great one ) with a few drops of lavender oil to help melt away any tension or stress. This massage exercise on the foam roller is a great way to break up any tightness you might be holding in your inner thighs leading up to #birth . Come to elbows (if belly is big to hands), straighten left leg behind , bend right knee and start by placing roller at an angle by groin area .Move your body ,having roller go up and down inner thigh from groin to knee . After a few times when you feel ready switch sides .

Published January 28, 2015 Uncategorized Leave a CommentWhen I prep women for pregnancy or childbirth , we spend time getting to the root of the truth in who they really are. By unraveling projections, conditioning and removing the masks ….. Peeling away them all to uncover the truth which lies within. “BE CAREFUL WHO YOU PRETEND TO BE BECAUSE YOU MIGHT FORGET WHO YOU ARE ” – Who is making these choices for you? Are you living and operating from a place of your truth or have you allowed someone else’s projections or views in the drivers seat steering the course of your life ? We are all unique and different – which makes us all special in our own way .. Your child choose you to be their mother .. You have the gifts and lessons that only you can teach them … When you pretend to be something your not to be accepted by others or society your child will miss out on what they came here to get from you -Lori Bregman
Lately in my line of work I have seen so much fear during pregnancy and around the birth process . Fear can be a great teacher, at the root of it holds a special message for the mother to be. When it shows up there is a priceless lesson to be worked thru on during the path into motherhood . It often comes up to point out the inner work and part of yourself that still needs some healing and integration to help better prepare you to parent your child” – Lori Bregman

I just made the most RAD playlist full of beautiful kundalini Music for my birthing ladies . I have found when I play this kind of music during labor, my girls go into a zone that helps connect them to their Shakti ( power , empowerment , divine feminine , creative power , divine mother). This music holds a healing vibration that speaks directly to the soul , calms the nervous system and helps open , clear and purify the subtle energetic systems. It’s also a great calming rhythm for you to move you body around to the beat. When you sing these chants they each hold a special healing vibration and energy that will move throughout your body as well as into the world . Birthing Playlist :

40 days post birth – HEAL , BOND, REPLENISH
Published January 15, 2015 Uncategorized Leave a CommentAll over the world new mothers practice An invaluable tradition called the 40 day rule in which new moms and their babies stay home for 40 days to rest and recover after giving birth. This postnatal period is the most critical and yet the most neglected phase in the lives of mothers and babies.
This a sacred time in which every thing is in flux – your baby is still transitioning to this world , the mother’s body heals , replenishes ,hormone levels and uterus size all return to their non-pregnant state. breastfeeding imprinting and bonding is also established.

You can help your labor move along by Stimulating and getting energy moving in your 2nd chakra ( your reproductive area ) by pelvic rocking , hip circles , hip thrusts , walking , dancing climbing hills and stairs ,a good snuggle with some passionate kissing ,nipple stimulation and having orgasms ( yay ..FUN !!! ) all helps releases oxytocin – The hormone that is released in labor and love.
