During childbirth the inner thigh muscles often tense up . Massaging the inner thighs during labor helps to relax the pelvic area and open up the cervix. During labor I use unscented coconut oil ( spectrum makes a great one ) with a few drops of lavender oil to help melt away any tension or stress. This massage exercise on the foam roller is a great way to break up any tightness you might be holding in your inner thighs leading up to #birth . Come to elbows (if belly is big to hands), straighten left leg behind , bend right knee and start by placing roller at an angle by groin area .Move your body ,having roller go up and down inner thigh from groin to knee . After a few times when you feel ready switch sides .
